KiosKit
From idea to SaaS: how I built a complete sales system for Paraguayan SMEs
The problem
Small and medium businesses in Paraguay manage their sales however they can — Excel spreadsheets, notebooks, or expensive complex systems not built for them. The result: uncontrolled inventory, unrecorded sales, and zero business visibility. KiosKit was born from observing that problem up close and deciding to solve it.
The solution
I designed and developed KiosKit from start to finish — from architecture to interface. A web-based sales system with POS, inventory, reports, customer management, and integrated virtual store. All in one platform, no installations, accessible from any device. I didn't outsource or delegate: every product decision, every UI component, and every backend endpoint went through my hands.
The result
The frontend is built in React as a SPA, prioritizing response speed in the POS. The backend in FastAPI, fast and secure. The landing in Astro, because a product page has to load in milliseconds. The Flutter mobile app is in development.
What I learned
Building your own product teaches you what no client project can: making decisions without a safety net. Every feature I added or cut was a lesson in product, business, and technology at once.
