AmigIA
A mental health app made in Paraguay that already supports hundreds of people across Latin America
The problem
Mental health is still a luxury in Latin America. A therapy session can cost between $50 and $100, waiting lists are long, and social stigma means many people never seek help. AmigIA was born to change that.
The solution
I was the mobile developer, responsible for the entire client-side experience. I built the app in React Native — from the empathetic AI chat to the emotional tracking dashboard, the DASS-21 psychological test, and the personalized reflections system. I also built the landing in Astro.
The result
AmigIA is available on Google Play, has surpassed 500 people in its beta, and has accumulated over 10,000 empathetic conversations. A Paraguayan product democratizing access to mental health across Latin America.
